About
Dr. Robert M. Schulman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and one of a selective group of Board Certified Prosthodontists in Westchester County. In 1998, Dr. Schulman graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he was recognized for clinical achievement in Implantology and Prosthodontics with the International College of Oral Implantologists and the Teledyne-Hanau Prosthodontics awards, respectively. Dr. Schulman then received a Post-Graduate Certificate in 1999 for his completion of a General Practice Residency at the Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. In 2002, Dr. Schulman received his Post-doctoral Specialty Certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. There, he completed a rigorous residency program with a strong emphasis on implant reconstruction, cosmetic dentistry, and removable prosthodontics (dentures & partial dentures). In addition to his current practice, Dr. Schulman formerly held the distinguished position as Director of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Prosthodontics at the New York Veterian Affairs Medical Center from 2002-2008. Dr. Schulman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics, member of the Northeastern Gnathological Society, American Dental Association, New York County Dental Society, and Ninth District Dental Association. Dr. Schulman often lectures to his peers in the field of dentistry focusing on implants, full-mouth rehabilitation and cosmetic techniques. Dr. Schulman's practice is limited to advanced restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry. He is actively involved in clinical implant and dental ceramic research, and has extensive restorative experience with multiple dental implant systems. His involvement in continuing education ensures that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.
