About
A native New Yorker, Dr. Ozer graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton. After working three years as a research biologist, he attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (possibly the best dental school in the United States). He completed a general practice residency at Metropolitan Hospital/Bird S. Coler Hospital for the New York Health and Hospitals Corporation before entering private practice. He appears in Who's Who in Executives and Professionals and Who's Who in the East. Married for over forty years, Dr. Ozer is the (incredibly) proud father of two children. A former college baseball player, he coached Little League for 11 years, was League Commissioner for 6 years, and was known as "the voice of South Orange/Maplewood baseball". He was Scoutmaster of Troop 20, and served for many years as a member of his temple's Executive Board. Dr. Ozer and his family created and ran for 15 years a local collection site for the annual Thanksgiving Turkey and Food Drive of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey; for the past ten years they have continued that annual collection (with the addition of collecting winter coats) as a benefit for the Interfaith Food Pantry of the Oranges.
