About
Dr. Mirza was born and raised in Bucharest, Romania and immigrated to the US in the 1980's. He's a graduate of South Shore HS, Brooklyn, NY, class of 86, and of Nassau Community College, Hempstead , NY, class of 1990. Graduated Marquette Dental School in 1994. Dr. Mirza practiced dentistry with his wife Dr. Baer in NY for 9 years and in 2004 moved his family to the Midwest. They both worked for Freeport Health Network from 2004 -2012 and now practice dentistry in their own practice in Rockford, IL. Dr. Mirza is certified in Invisalign treatments to move teeth (invisible braces), he places his own implants and restores them and is proficient at cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Mirza and Dr. Baer-Mirza are members of the ADA, ISDS and WCDS. They do about 25-30 CE hours per year to keep up with the changes in the field of dentistry. They are both councilors for the Dental Explorer program where they educate students 14-20 in the field of dentistry.
