Care Philosophy

Dr. Mousavi has a true passion for combining the science and art of dentistry to make a difference in her patients™ lives. Dr. Mousavi attended Rutgers University for her undergraduate studies, where she majored in Biological Sciences and Minored in Chemistry. She received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from New York University in 1994. During her post-graduate studies at NYU, she did extensive research in Facial Aesthetics and the perception of Aesthetics. She completed her fellowship in General Practice Residency at the Prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital in 1995. At this program, she extensively studied implant restoration and aesthetic dentistry. As Benjamin Franklin stated, An investment in knowledge pays the best interest. As dentistry evolves with advances in technology and modalities of treatment, Dr. Mousavi invests in improving the quality of care and ultimately the quality of life for her patients. She has various certificates in implant and laser dentistry and is a Certified Invisalign® Provider. Dr. Mousavi continues to take continuing education courses, always surpassing the State Licensing Requirements. She has completed a two-year orthodontic certification program with USDI, as well as training in Botox® and facial fillers.
