Mychel Vail, DDS, MSD is originally from Valparaiso, Indiana. At Indiana University she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in chemistry in 1992 and her DDS in 1995. Dr. Vail then received advanced dental training in the Navy, where she served active duty in Okinawa, Japan and the United States. She then received a Fellowship from the American Association of Endodontists to complete her Master's Degree in 2004.

Dr. Vail is committed to utilizing the latest technology in order to provide the best care for his patients. Dr. Vail believes in the use of clinical photos in order to enhance communication with his patients and their referring dentists. Dr. Vail has incorporated anesthesia technology (Dental-Vibe and STA) into his practice to make injections more comfortable for his patients. In addition, Dr. Vail has invested in digital imaging and cone beam technology which allows superior visualization of dental structures.

I was referred to Dr. Vail from my dentist. Went down there with an idea of which tooth that was causing the problem. After her and Alex took their time testing my lower jaw teeth which is where the pain was located, they determined the lower teeth were fine and started testing top teeth and found the infected one. I over- stayed my visit, but it did not cause them to rush me along. They continued to proceed with the treatment necessary to get me all better.

I highly recommend Dr. Mychel Vail. I have had some very painful dental experiences in my life and when I found out I was going to need a retreatment of a root canal I was very upset. But Dr. Vail's compassionate manner immediately put me at ease. She was able to remove a very large post and deal with the retreatment of my root canal with gentleness and expertise. The procedure was painless. Everyone in the office provided excellent care making sure I was comfortable and relaxed.

Dr. Vail is the best endodontist I have found. She is thorough, fast and knows what she is doing. You will be pleased you selected her for your sick tooth. Just awesome.
