I went to Dr. Mintz because I was having occasional discomfort with a lower rear tooth. Three weeks prior while having my teeth cleaned I had told my regular dentist about the discomfort. After an x ray was taken by his PA, Dr. Mintz tapped the tooth, looked around and asked me how often did I schedule a teeth cleaning. I replied twice a year, without mentioning that it had just been three weeks. I got the impression he was inferring my teeth were not clean. He asked whether I used a waterpik. I said I have one but don’t use it. He then, mockingly, said, “He HAS one but doesn’t USE it!” He then asked whether my dentist tapped the tooth because it was alive. I asked him if he would please turn off for a moment the high intensity light he wore on his forehead while we discussed it. I had recently had cataract surgery and was supposed to avoid bright lights. He got upset immediately stated, “Okay we’re through!” and started ripping off his light. He never said another word to me.

Anyone looking to make the best of what usually is a very bad situation of a toothache this is your man! Dr. Mintz has proven four times now that his root canal work is second to none I am lucky to have found him and I travel an hour and 15 minutes from Rolling Meadows to his office and do it gladly to have someone as experienced to preform the task so difficult as a root canal. You don’t know how good he is until you’ve experienced how pleasant it is to hear him humming along and singing to you while doing an absolutely perfect job which the x-rays may clear once he’s done. I very highly recommend him to anyone and everyone with a toothache. Thank you Doc and your entire staff for getting me in under emergency circumstances and taking care of me and making me feel at ease. Roy A. Rolling Meadows Ill.

I had some pain from a previous root canal and Dr Mintz said it needed to be redone after her retreated the tooth I had the same pain, went back and after a 60 second exam he said my bridge was the problem, also l was told procedure would cost $1300 but they jacked it up to$1620 without my consent. I plan on taking him to court so beware.

I had a very food experience with Dr. Mintz. I had a root canal done about 7 years ago by another dentist. I was having pain, which he found out was from cotton being stuck in my tooth from the previous dentist. I had a re treatment done, and follow up with him every year. his staff is very friendly and attentive. I have no no issues with his office once so ever. I highly recommend him, he makes everything so easy and welcoming for the patients.
