Dr. Achury graduated from Georgetown University in 1988. Prior to studying at Dental School, he attended St John's University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. Dr. Achury has been practicing for over 19 years. He has been in his current location for 23 years. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Achury has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. As a part of his yearly routine he attends classes at the Pankey Institute, attends regularly the Spanish American Medical and Dental Society's Congress has taken numerous courses in Implant restorations, as well as all of the other dental specialties. Dr. Achury is Colombian born and is fluent in Spanish and English, and communites well in Portuguese. Dr. Achury is active in the dental community, as an active member and former director of Queens County Dental Society. He is also a past president and member of the board of the Dental Committee of the Spanish American Medical and Dental Society. He is also a mamber of the New York State Dental Association. Nationally, Dr. Achury is also member of the ADA, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, and is currently preparing to take the Fellowship exam.

Dr. Julia Igdalev came to the United States after earning a DDS degree from the St. Petersburg State Pavlov Medical University in 1991. She then went on to earn a doctorate in dental surgery from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry in 1997 and she has spent the last 14 years in private practice. Dr. Igdalev has a genuine passion for the dental field and therefore only utilizes the most innovative techniques and state-of-the-art materials in her practice. With the help of this advanced dental technology, Dr. Igdalev can reduce the discomfort associated with dentistry, while simultaneously improving oral health. I knew very early in my life that I wanted to be a dentist. I pursued that dream and have never looked back. I am always looking to develop and perfect new techniques, utilize the latest technology to help improve the patient experience. I wish to spread my knowledge to my colleagues. I instruct at the Westchester Medical Center and freely give my knowledge to the General Practice Residents and the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residents on dental implants, cosmetics, practice management and other various areas of dentistry. Dentistry today has changed so much for me when I first started. I have brought in digital radiographs, three dimensional radiographs, Cerec CAD/CAM, full mouth implant restorations and lasers. All these technologies are useful in providing the best possible care. I am also very pleased that I have been able to develop a dental CAD/CAM manufacturing lab that helps patients through referring doctors. In my free time, I enjoy keeping active. The term "work hard, play hard" fits me well. I entertaining with family and friends, travel, golf, fitness training, skiing, motor sports, and charity work. I have a wonderful wife and two awesome daughters that make going home such a pleasure.
