Dr. Maria Kunstadter Dr. Maria Kunstadter is a graduate of the UMKC School of Dentistry. Her professional affiliations include: American Dental Association Missouri Dental Association Kansas City Dental Society American Orthodontic Society Mid-American Orthodontic Society International Association for Orthodontics She is a founding member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry and founded the UMKC Dental Outreach Program which as provided dental care to countless people in third-world countries for 25 years. Dr. Kunstadter is also a registered dietitian and has lead medical missions to many parts of the world. The Smile Salon was named a 2003 Greater Kansas City Small Business of the Year and received the 25 under 25 award from the Kansas City Small Business Monthly in 2004. She was a 2004 recipient of the “Women Who Mean Business†award. Dr. Kunstadter has achieved the status of Invisalign Premier Provider for 2005, 2006, and 2007. In March 2008, she achieved the designation of Elite Premier Provider, which is awarded to only 1% of Invisalign providers in the world! Dr. Kunstadter was the first woman dentist to be awarded this honor. Be prepared to tell Dr. Kunstadter your life history!
