About
Dr. Mani Alikhani is an Associate Professor at the Department of Orthodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He obtained his Dental Medicine Doctor's Degree from Tufts University, a certificate in Orthodontics from New York University, and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology. He is the founder and director of the Consortium for Translational Orthodontic Research, a private center dedicated to advancement of Orthodontics. His research, funded by national and international foundations, focuses on skeletal formation, tooth movement, bone response to mechanical stimulation and smart orthodontic appliances for which he holds several patents. Dr. Alikhani specializes in complex orthodontic treatment for teens and adults.
