Larissa Figari-Goller, DDS, FICOI, received her BS at Fairfield University in Connecticut. She continued her education receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery from SUNY at Stony Brook, School of Dental Medicine in 2006. Dr. Figari then completed a one-year General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital. She was then selected to continue at North Shore University Hospital and completed a two year Fellowship in Advanced Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry. She focused intensely on the placement of implants and constructing teeth which are connected to implants.She attends continuing education lectures monthly, has attended Dawson Courses and is a graduate of the Kois Center. She has been trained in CEREC® single visit crowns/ onlays and Invisalign®. She has trained and has worked with sleep apnea specialists in our area in the fabrication of oral sleep appliances to assist in treating sleep apnea and as a replacement to the CPAP machine for many patients. She has extensive oral surgery background including dental extractions as well as implant surgery. In 2011, she became a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She has worked with patients who fear even walking into the dental office. She works hard to make each and every patient feel comfortable and tailors the interaction based on their needs. She deliberately takes the time to work with these patients on an individual basis. Dr. Figari is experienced in all phases of cosmetic, implant dentistry, and restorative dentistry. Her goal is to give each patient the best treatment all under one roof. She is currently working on her Masters in Public Health at Stony Brook so that she can continue to educate and provide dentistry nationally and internationally annually while travelling. She has traveled to Nicaragua, Madagascar, the Dominican Republic, Kenya, the Philippines, and Haiti to provide dental treatment to patients in need and is always looking for somewhere else to make a difference in the care of patients. In 2011, Dr. Figari-Goller established herself as a partner at Huntington Bay Dental and is now partners with Dr. Adamo Notarantonio. She is a member of several professional organizations. American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Suffolk County Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration, Fellow & member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologist, and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She was raised on Long Island and recently moved to Northport with her husband, Joe Goller. She attended Fairfield University and graduated Magna cum laude with a BS in Mathematics. She enjoys boating, skiing, travelling, Pilates, philanthropy, spending time with friends and family and helping her patient’s look and feel their best in a comfortable and state of the art dental practice.
