Care Philosophy

My philosophy is that if I listen to my patients and understand what they would like to see me do for them, the outcome will be positive. Each person has their own idea of how their teeth should look and function. After I understand that, I can offer a variety of solutions to fit their needs. I especially enjoy cosmetic dentistry and making dentures. I also have special training in treatment of both TMJ and headaches due to clenching and grinding. In addition, I am trained in the treatment of sleep apnea. Who better to make an oral appliance for apnea treatment than a dentist! The dangers of sleep apnea are being understood and recognized more these days and we are happy to offer this service to the communities of Racine and Kenosha. The staff at Stummer Dental is very friendly and understanding. We enjoy getting to know or patients and providing the best possible care to them! Smile Bigger, Feel Better, Live Longer!

Friendly staff. After filling a small cavity and experiencing pain in tooth and jaw. I followed up with doctor and he handed me an outdated flyer to a dental practice in a neighboring city and told to me if pain continues to follow up with an Endodontist for root canal.

I wasn’t sure what type of experience Dr. Stummer had but, my review is to let you know that once I booked an appointment and saw Dr. Stummer, I had made the right decision. My extraction was PAIN FREE!So now I want to help the next person who is scrambling at night in tooth pain searching for the right dentist. Dr. Stummer doesn’t make you feel shameful that you may have neglected your dental care. Many times we get too distracted to stay on top of our teeth, but this happened for me. Dr. Stummer took care of 4 cavities and a couple of extractions, relieving my extreme pain in HALF the time it would take to see any dentist. “Your mouth will be a bummer until you contact Dr. Stummer!”

From extractions to dentures, Dr. Stummer and his entire staff were nothing less than excellent. If you think you are in need of having to get dentures, there is no one else I would recommend. Personally i had to have over 20 extractions, he did them all in one session and not once did I feel any discomfort or pain, and best of all, when I left his office that day, i had my new dentures in place and left with a smile i have not seen in many years. Thank you Dr. Stummer and your entire staff for being who you are and doing what you do. You are all the BEST!!
