About
Dr. Sauchelli attended Rutgers University where she earned a Biology degree and an Art History minor finishing Phi Beta Kappa with honors. Following college, she began her career as a research scientist for Hoffman La-Roche doing research on rheumatoid arthritis and published a number of abstracts during her time there. Dr. Sauchelli wanted to do something that would incorporate her love of science, art and people. In 1983, she entered UMDNJ Dental School. While in dental school, Dr. Sauchelli was the president of the student government, and received many awards upon graduation including the Gillis Award and the induction into the dental honor society, OKU. She began her career as a dentist in 1987 working directly beneath one of her professors, Dr. Churgin in Bloomfield, NJ. During this time, she entered NYU for a mini residency in prosthodontics. In 1991, she founded her own practice.
