I got an extraction from Dr. LaBanc back in 2020. I make sure, even today, that I post my experience to all review platforms. I don’t want anyone to go through what I am still struggling with the negligence of this doctor.In October of 2020, I had a consultation with Dr. LaBanc to get three of my four teeth out. Never did he mention I had a high chance of nerve damage or that I wouldn't recover from this surgery.Ten to twenty minutes before I went in to get two coronectomies and a normal wisdom tooth removed, LaBanc sat with my mother and me. He told us that there was nothing to worry about for the procedure. My mother warned him about how she is sensitive to anesthetics and that I may possibly be as well. He waved her off telling her I will be fine.It has been 4 years and I am STILL struggling with my nerve damage. Don’t go here. The right side of my lip, gums, and cheek is still numb. I have a hard time talking, drinking out of a cup, and dealing with tingling or sharp pain.

I love Dr. Belinfante, he did 3 extractions for me flawlessly. I can no longer recommend AOFS due to Dr. LeBanc's work on my wife's extraction. She has been in horrible pain, unable to sleep or eat for 4 days. The after hours on call Dr. Treadaway from Douglasville tried but was limited due to it being after hours. We ended up in an Urgent Care facility and they told us we need to follow up with LeBanc. My wife went back to LeBanc at the Sugarloaf office and he breated my wife and her mother and insisted that there is nothing wrong and that her pain cannot be that bad. Well, here we are at 3AM AND ON DAY 5 AND STILL SCREAMING IN PAIN. Dr. LeBanc does not care about his patients at all. The staff at both offices are great, Erik Belinfante is great. Avoid Dr. LeBanc at all costs.
