The BEST dental experience in a long, messy history of procedures! I don't leave many reviews, but felt so well cared for as a customer by every member of the Russo Endodontics staff. Situations that might lead you to Dr. Russo are probably unfortunate, painful, and require some urgency. Her office was recommended by my dentist and they were able to work me into their schedule quickly. The front desk, hygienist, and Dr. Russo all explained things well, thoroughly and skillfully took care of my root canal in a way that minimized discomfort. It's hard to call such things fun, but my time there really was enjoyable and I left healthier.

I had a root canal done by my dentist whom I had been seeing for 8 years. I was left with pain in my face that would not go away. I decided to find a new dentist, who took x-rays and commented on the poor root canal and told me that it would need to be "re-treated". This guy is already trying to rip me off I thought, but he told me to see an endodontist and have them do the job. He explained to me that the pain I was feeling was an infection in the bone which was the result of decaying pulp and nerve tissue that had not been removed. I found Dr. Russo through a friend and she took such care in hearing my story, examining my tooth, locating the problem areas and coming up with a plan to fix it. I was scared to actually have the root canal retreated, but she did an exceptional job to ensure it was PAINLESS! I even fell asleep at one point. She located an ENTIRE ROOT the previous dentist missed!!!! I will be going back to Dr. Russo in the future and highly recommend her.

Within the last year I had tooth # 18 endodontically treated by Dr Russo Revand. Let me preface my remarks on the experience by saying that I am an Endodontist. The treatment I received and the alacrity in which it was delivered was beyond reproach. Only when one has great confidence and skill can an operator make a very difficult treatment look easy. One of her cases, I now see, was recently placed on the cover insert of our national periodical, the Journal of Endodontics. This is a woman who stands above her peers. She is first and foremost a doctor which is a big statement in today’s system of health care. If you go to another practitioner for your endodontic treatment you have missed the proverbial boat. She is one in a thousand as far as endodontists go.

Dr Russo gave my mother the worst root canal ever in CT. She was in pain, both during and after. All the while, conversing with her assistant about her personal life instead if noticing that my mother was in pain and unable to keep her mouth open due to the block to keep it open kept moving out of place. Unbeknownst to anyone else. Additionally, after the procedure, when she said she was in pain, Dr Russo was unable to see her for three days. This is not a physician I would recommend to anyone.
