About
Dr. Jesse Small is a native New Yorker. He was born at home on the Upper West Side. He attended Bard High School Early College where he received his Associate of Arts degree from Bard College. He then went to Vassar College in the beautiful Hudson valley, where he studied Neuroscience and Behavior and French. During his time there, he had the opportunity to work with many dentists in the field and fell in love with the career. He especially cherished the bond between the dentist and his patients. He saw first hand how each dental appointment did not need to be a negative experience, but an amicable, fun meeting, almost as if with an old friend. He went on to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where he graduated with his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD). He returned to New York City where he completed a General Practice Residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn. During his time there, he became well versed in all aspects of dentistry. He is also an Invisalign certified provider and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists. Dr. Small's ambition is to change patient's outlook on oral health. Patients often fear coming to the dentist; every new patient he encounters, he provides the most caring, enjoyable experience with a gentle touch and a kind smile. During his spare time, Jesse likes to run and bike in Central Park. He is also an avid cook and loves to make new and adventurous Vegan meals. He hopes to travel the world; his most recent trips were to Iceland, where he drove the Ring Road, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and Berlin.
