Is this the Doctor Jim Powell who used to live in Stone Mountain? I have more information if this is the case.

I have had great checkups and cleanings every 6 months with no issues. I had xrays taken months ago and there were no issues at that time. Imagine my surprise when I have an exam with my new dentist and I can see with my untrained eye the cavities on both xray and digital image. One is going to require a root canal at this point. I'm devastated because it could have been fixed before it got this far. I didn't realize how poor dental care I had been receiving until I changed providers!

I've been seeing Dr. Powell for all my dentistry needs for years and he is amazing! I've had no problems getting an appointment, even if I have an emergency and need to get in quickly. They've been very accommodating. He does excellent work, explains everything, my cleanings are thorough, the staff is very kind. After having other dentists recommend work for me that really wasn't needed, Dr. Powell is very careful to only recommend what really needs to be done! That's very important to me.

I called several times to make an appointment, got a recording every time saying they are with a customer. I went to their website, clicked on make an appointment, filled it out on no one called me. I called again, this time they answered. I said I tried to make an appointment on their website, she said our website does not offer that, even though it did. She then said she was with a customer and would have to call me back. Took my number and never called back.

I have never been treated so poorly by a medical professional in my entire life. Completely rude and unprofessional. Absolutely the worst dentist for customer service of all time. It's hard to believe he has any repeat business.
