About
Dr. Ishita Rahman is a general dentist with training in oral surgery, implant dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. She joined West Annapolis Family Dentistry in 2019. Dr. Rahman attended Mount Holyoke college for her undergraduate education followed by a research stint at Harvard Medical School. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2015 and completed advanced training through a general practice residency in North Carolina at the Vidant Medical Center. Dr. Rahman is highly trained in all aspects of general dentistry including restorative dentistry, oral surgery, teeth whitening, root canals, crown and bridge, extractions, dentures, implant restorations, and cosmetic dentistry. She strives to provide excellent patient care, and excels at taking care of patients with dental phobia. Her four kids – two human, two feline –fiercely compete for mommy's attention during the weekends. She loves family activities, exploring the area, and engaging in continuing education.
