About
Dr. Gregory A. Farber DDS is a Certified Periodontal Reconstructive Surgeon with a solid, Buffalo based practice of 24 years. He graduated from SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine Cum-laude with Thesis Honors in Periodontology in 1992. He received the Dean's Letter of Commendation, was placed on the National Dean's List and was elected into the OKU Dental Honor Society. Dr. Farber attended the Medical College of Virginia for his Post-doctoral residency in Periodontics. He began solo practice in 1994 along with being a clinical instructor at the SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine from 1994-1998. Dr. Farber was elected to the Chairman and Platinum club by the Straumann Implant committee and received the Platinum award in 2014 from Bio Horizons for his contributions to the field of Implant Dentistry. He has served as a consultant for future implant development and design for both Straumann and Bio Horizons implant companies and has been performing implant and periodontal reconstructive surgery for 24 years. He is also the founder and president of Buffalo Dental Implant and Buffalo Dental Advanced Cosmetics. Dr. Farber is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, The American Dental Association, The Erie County Dental Society, The Eight District Dental Society and OKU Dental Honor Society. Since he began practicing Periodontal Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Farber continually attends extensive continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced Implant care available anywhere.
