About
Bio Eric Michael Bernstein, D.M.D earned his Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University. He received his D.M.D. degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry. Dr. Bernstein distinguished himself by receiving the Departmental Awards in Restorative Dentistry, Fixed Partial Dentures and Orthodontics. He was also inducted into the dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Bernstein received his Certificate of Training in Prosthodontics from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry in 1983. Dr. Bernstein is a member of many organizations including the American College of Prosthodontics, Academy of Osseointegration and the American Dental Association. Currently, Dr. Bernstein is an Attending at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Dr. Bernstein lectures nationally on many topics including dental implants, all ceramic restorations and methods for achieving optimum esthetics. My specialty, Prosthodontics, deals with a broad range of diagnosis and treatment. Primarily, treatment involves replacement of teeth and associated oral structures through the use of crowns, bridges, all ceramic restorations, implants and partial and full dentures. Hygiene, tooth whitening and appliances for the treatment of sleep apnea, snoring and TMJ disorders are also provided. Each patient, when seen for the first time, receives a complete examination after which a plan of treatment is proposed for the patient's acceptance. The necessity for this examination is to determine the nature and extent of prior dental care, as well as any medical disability and medication taken which could conceivably affect and influence dental treatment. Our entire staff operates as a team. I take great pride in each staff member's training and professionalism. I know that you will share our confidence in their capability.
