About
Dr. Dan Duffy is a native of Point Pleasant, NJ. After completing undergraduate studies at East Carolina University (Greenville, NC), he entered ECU's School of Dental Medicine, receiving a Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2016. Drawn to the dental profession by a desire to help people enjoy the benefits of a healthy, confident smile, Dr. Duffy is trained in all aspects of general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry as well as endodontics (root canal therapy) and TMJ Disorders. He is also Certified in Invisalign, a clear tooth realignment process. His involvement in organizations that further his skills include memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the NC Dental Society. He is also a member of the Wilmington Chapter of Spear Study Club, part of a national emphasis that strives to advance clinical skills in dentistry. As a returning resident of Wilmington, Dr. Duffy and his wife, Melissa, and son Fisher are active in many outdoor activities. He is a longtime member of the Wrightsville Beach Longboard Association and Cape Fear Chapter's Surfrider Foundation. He generously volunteers his dental services through NC Missions Of Mercy and the Cape Fear Clinic.
