About
DR CHIANN GIBSON is a celebrity public figure, award winning general dentist, noted speaker and published author. Dr. Gibson graduated from Tufts School of Dental Medicine as a Merit Scholarship recipient and later, an Adjunct professor doing dental Midwest research. Dr. Gibson is an Accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AAACD), a Fellow of The International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics (ADFE), a Fellow of The International Congress of Ora Implantologists (ICOI) and an Associate Doctor of the Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE). Early in Dr. Gibsons career, because of her noted cosmetic restorations, she was awarded the tile of, The Official Dentist of the Miss Universe Organization by CBS television, and its then co/owner. Dr. Gibson had competed and won the title of Miss Washington USA and later was named Mrs. USA, the first dentist to receive either title. In 2018 Dr. Gibson was awarded the international scholastic award, Best in Science, at the Global Beauty Awards, Seattle Washington. Dr. Gibson has served on the Board of Directors of the AACD from 2008 2012 and again from 2012-2017. Dr. Gibson also served as President of The AACD from 2016-2017. In 2014 Dr. Gibson created the Midwest Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and served as its President. Dr. Gibson serves as a faculty member of Align Technology and is a provider of Invisalign clear aligner therapy in conjunction with cosmetic restoratives. As an internationally acclaimed speaker, she often speaks on her ground breaking technics on this subject. Additionally she has added Botox and PDO threads for cosmetic facial treatment and Therapeutic Pain Management for TMJ and Migraines. As a published author, Dr. Gibson was selected to create and write a feature dental column for the Chicago suburban Sun Times Newspaper (The Naperville Sun). In addition, Dr. Gibson was published in the Dental Clinics of North America with a cleft palate case study involving cosmetic restorative goals and treatment. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Gibson is married to Emmy award winning TV host, entertainer, and producer, Jim Gibson. Together they have a son, James Keith Gibson III.
