About
Dr. Brian Leung was born in NYC, and raised in Livingston, NJ where he graduated top of his class from Livingston High School. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University where he competed on the hybrid electric vehicle team. He then went on to graduate top of his class at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and served on the honor counsel in the Student Government and has received a number of academic grants for his academic achievements. Following dental school, Dr. Leung was immediately accepted into a prestigious orthodontic three year residency program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. There, he got to work alongside some of the top oral surgeons in the country, and is very well trained in treating complicated orthodontic cases. After completing his orthodontic residency, Dr. Leung had the opportunity to work at a very reputable pediatric and orthodontic practice in the suburbs of Memphis, Tennessee. There, he gained valuable experience treatment planning alongside general and pediatric dentists to develop the most comprehensive and efficient treatments for patients. Dr. Leung is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Mid-Atlantic Association of Orthodontists, and Middlesex County Dental Society. He regularly attends continuation education courses across the country and is always excited to learn new advances in orthodontics. Aside from doing traditional braces, Dr. Leung is also an Invisalign Elite Preferred Provider which means that he has more Invisalign experience than 95% of doctors in the world. Dr. Leung is regularly invited by Invisalign to meet with other top Invisalign Orthodontic providers across the country to help advance the field of clear aligner technology. Dr. Leung has been voted as New Jersey's Favorite Kid's Docs by New Jersey Moms multiple times and is a big advocate of giving back to the local community.
