About
Dr. Alissa Roman spent many days at her father's practice-Roman Dental Arts as an infant while her parents provided care to patients. She then went on to take a position at Roman Dental Arts as a Patient Specialist, as well as a Dental Assistant, under her father's guidance. In her teenage years, Dr. Alissa attended Ramapo High School, and after graduating went on to Fordham University earning her Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Anthropology. After her years at Fordham she continued her education at Montclair State University where she received her Masters' in Biology. The next step in her education was her training at the University of Buffalo School of Dentistry where she graduated in 2018. Dr. Alissa also spent time providing outreach dental care to the impoverished regions of the US. Dr Alissa embodies our practice's philosophy of putting our patients first. She is as compassionate as she is professional. She enjoys spending her spare time playing tennis, traveling or bonding with her puppy Sullivan. She looks forward to many years of providing our current and new patients with the best possible dental care.
