About
Dr. Alex Parshin has a reputation among his peers and patients alike as a caring, compassionate dentist for whom integrity and honesty are the cornerstones of his practice. He has worked in his current office since 2011, and he purchased the practice, rebranding it as Parshin Dental, in 2013. He has continued the proud history of the original dental office, which dates back approximately 30 years. Before entering into professional dentistry, Dr. Parshin graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2010. During his fourth year at the school, now known as Rutgers Dental, he was inaugurated into the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthetic Honor Society for demonstrating excellence in Dental Prosthodontics. After receiving his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree, Dr. Parshin served a yearlong residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he treated 16 to 20 patients a day. During this residency, he honed his skills in oral surgery, including the placement of dental implants and extractions of all dentition; orthodontics, including the Invisalign® clear aligner system; and rotary endodontics. On June 30, 2011, he received the Resident of the Year Award in recognition of his outstanding service as a post-graduate resident.
