During my time going there, I always noticed that I was being told that it would cost a certain amount. I would pay a fixed amount, but then a couple of months later, I always received additional bills. For a while, I just accepted this, but then I realized they were balance billing me. When I asked them about this, they blamed insurance. But after researching, these are the facts. Dental offices like Dr Nordone's intentionally stay out-of-network with insurance carriers so that they don't have to accept the nationally agreed upon rates. If they are in-network, they are not allowed to bill the patient the balance that insurance doesn't pay. I called 20 different dental offices and asked for their rates for specific codes. For example, a new patient visit usually has a comprehensive exam (code D0150). The other practices charge about $95 for this. Nordone charges $133. This is why you are getting balance billed, they are charging too much for the same procedures.

Beware!Shoddy dental work.....Nordone is not skilled and crowns do not fit.He is shamelessly deceptive.I regret totally all the work he did....extremely disappointing!The Georgia Dental Board should stop him!

As dental work Dr. Nordone did for me deteriorated prematurely, and I went to a competent dentist to get the work done properly , it appeared that Dr. Nordone had been dishonest with me about the necessity of the work he had done, and that he had been dishonest with me about assessing work that supposedly needed to be done urgently, but actually did NOT need to be done. He had also been dishonest with me about disposing of a gold crown he removed. His prices were quite high, also.
