He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Industrial Engineering before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dental Medicine in 1987. He then joined his father's practice, eventually taking over upon his father's retirement. Dr. Patrick H. Yancey IV followed in his father's and grandfather's footsteps, graduating from Mercer University and then the Medical College of Georgia with his DMD in 2014. He completed a general practice residency with a focus on implant placement and restoration before joining Yancey Dental in 2015, ensuring the continuation of the family legacy.
