BE VERY CAREFUL, they DON’T get pre-approval from your INSURANCE. This is obviously a scam to bring in revenue at the patients expense considering most dental offices do this for major procedures. Had a new crown put on a tooth that was cracked in 2 places, the tooth had no pain, I was doing it as Preventative Care. After the crown was put on I couldn’t drink anything on that side as the tooth caused pain.
Dr. Zack not only saw me once but had to see me a second time to determine that the crown made in-house was made incorrectly ?? As a Dentist he couldn’t figure this out the first time?? Then had to reschedule for a replacement crown. This costed myself 2 days of overtime pay for Dr Zack’s failed crown. They refused to reduce the price of the crown that the insurance denied because the office didn’t get pre-approval.
The tooth still bothers me after $2000 into it (loss wages and full price of crown) and I’m sure they will push for a root canal as Dr Zack was already pushing that option on the failed crown, more $, more $ is the NEW Waterford Family Dental. Since Dr Dan left the ethics of Waterford dental is all about making money at the patients expense. The owners (Linh and Zack) take NO responsibility when it’s their fault a procedure doesn’t go well, and don’t care if the patient has lost wages because of their mistakes, as long as they get paid they don’t care about the patient’s financial losses.

I love this dental office! They are super friendly, helpful and they explain any procedures that need to be done very well. My whole family has been very happy with the care they have received there. I HIGHLY recommend them!!

Great experience! Nick was very informative on my inner eye condition and he showed me the optic nerves and other functionality of my eyes. Very impressed and will definitely be going back in the future, plus I’m getting some really nice looking glasses!

DO NOT COME HERE!!! My family and I have been coming here for 10+ years. When Dr Dan owned this place, it was amazing, I recommended everyone who was looking for a Dentist to come here. Dr Dan and his staff treated everyone like family, they actually cared about you and what you were going through. UNFORTUANTELY: Dr Dan sold to Dr Lyn, which I am sure Dr Dan believed they had the best interest for his business. This is a million percent not true. Within the last roughly 7 months, at my cleaning in the fall, Miranda (absolutely amazing Hygienist) announced they now have two hygienists who will clean my teeth, full disclosure, I am terrified of the dentist, so this literally made me cringe, but I know and trust Miranda. So ok, Miranda did the first part of the cleaning, leaving the easy stuff to the other Hygienist. The second girl only had to polish and floss, how bad could it be? I left so incredibly sore, I brush, floss, use my water pick, and mouthwash multiple times a day. I ended up taking some ibuprofen for it because it led into a headache. The next morning, I noticed my gums were really sore in two places, sore to the point I could not eat. Several weeks later, I was getting ready to call the dentist because the pain is not going away, I took the water pick to it anyway, pushed through the pain, and low and behold there were 2 blood pockets that were there. Once they popped, it was a million times better. Recent trip to the dentist, I made it very well known I would not be seen by a second Hygienist, explained what happened, there were no apologies or anything, I was made to feel as though it was my fault. Had an off feeling about my appointment, sure enough, I get there and I am LITERALLY yelled at for not allowing a second hygienist.
I wanted to leave, but I didn't. For my sons appointment, literally right after mine, they found a small cavity on one of his teeth. He made an appointment to come back to have it fixed. at 6pm the night before, I received a call from a very snippy lady. who informs me that he is not covered by our insurance. I said that cant be right, I know he is covered. her response, well he isnt and I put him in as a cash payment for tomorrow. Uhm no. My husband attempted to reconcile this with the dentist office and they fought back. So yes, his dental was cancelled because they did not know he was a full time student. to be fair, we also were not notified that they needed proof, we were never notified. We talked to 3 different people, all 3 people said they check the insurance the day before cleanings and procedures to verify insurance. it came back that he did not have insurance which is when they reached out. my husband and I both clarified what they said, they acknowledged it, We said so you knew prior to his cleaning that he did not have insurance, they would not answer that.
We said we felt because they knew and did not inform us, we should not be held responsible for the cleaning, she said not our problem. we tried to negotiate, saying we will pay half and the office has to eat the other cost, based on what you guys admitted too, again was told not their problem. I asked to talk to the owner, I was told a wide range of excuses that she doesn't talk to patients, she doesn't have a voicemail, she doesn't have a phone number, and she doesn't have an email. She did say she would have her call. Which never happened, so my husband tried to call, they are now refusing to answer our calls or return our calls. I have spoken to other patients who are experiencing the exact same thing. Majority of the workers are also leaving due to the new owners. I pointed out to the "office manager" that when Dr Dan owned it, all of his patients were like family. Now? The patients are nothing more than walking dollar signs. It is very sad. 10+ years gone, it is devastating that this is the final result.
