I have been going to Velling Dental since I was 5 years old - I am now in my mid-thirties for reference. I have also moved to different areas of the city and continue to go out of my way to see the Velling's as do my sister, brother-in-law and mom. A couple things about this office I would highlight, the father started this practice and was my first dentist along with one of his daughters as a dental hygienist. His two sons later took over the practice and they handle it with just the same care.
Every time I come in, it's the same two great front desk administrative staff Kris and Jody, whom are welcoming, thorough and thoughtful in their approach as well. I have also known them both since I started going as a kid. Both Dr. Mike and Dr.
Jerry are great with patient care, but they also take a personal approach by remembering things about my life and my family. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my dental needs. I would highly recommend if you want a highly ethical and friendly dentist's office.

After my cleaning today I feel compelled to write a glowing review for Velling Dental in West Seattle. The entire staff is great, the hygienists are all amazing and the Vellings are excellent dentists.
I have very sensitive teeth (used to have to have a dental block just for basic cleaning at another dentist) and they take such great care of my teeth I now have zing-free cleanings and my teeth are in amazing shape. So many people hate their dentist appts but I really enjoy mine now - thanks Velling team!

Love both dentists, the hygienists, and both Chris and Jody at reception are excellent. Even though we moved away from the area, it’s worth the commute to come back for excellent customer service and a professional caring job. I had to be referred out for surgery and they sent me to only the best.
They won’t do unnecessary work, always include you on any decisions, and keep notes of places that need to be monitored. Never thought I would say I love going to the dentist, but we Love Velling Dental!

I read through all of the reviews I would have given 10 stars if possible as described in these reviews Dr. Jerry Velling and his staff are top notch. I walked into this office with a loose crown on a old implant I was attended to immediately and the loose crown was removed, before this I might have called up to 10 dentists/orthodontists none willing to help! I have my at most respect for this practice.
They will be the one I will be seeing for the foreseeable future. 😀
