I have been going to the Warren office on Market Street for 4+ plus years now. I have had a wonderful experience. I did go through a couple counselors before I found a fit for me. I now see Cherri and she is absolutely amazing if it wasn't for her I don't know where I would be today. She has been my Saving Grace. I also see a psychiatrist her name is Nicole. She is also great she is patient. She is compassionate, it took several different medications to finally find what has worked for me. Please don't give up, ask for a different counselor ask for a different doctor it is your right.
Not everybody is right for you you have to find your person. Even if you cannot find it at Valley counseling please continue to seek the help you need. My life has changed for the better and I'm actually starting to feel like myself again. It's a process, and even though I did the work I couldn't have done it without Cherri and Nicole. . . thank you both for doing what you do.

Where are my prescriptions? I shouldnt have to go a week and more without my prescriptions because people aren't doing their jobs.

This practice is a joke. No one ever checks/responds to the med refill line, and the receptionists are almost never helpful, they just continue to transfer you off to that voicemail. My provider (Laura) is amazing and helpful, but it is impossible to get ahold of her without making an appointment.
I’ve waited months without refills because of things like needing a prior authorization from insurance and the practice just letting these things sit and not doing anything about it. This is people’s mental health we are talking about here… going without medications or refills can be detrimental for some.

I was able to cope with my issues & happy to SLOWLY ween off of a medication that is now considered addictive (after 25 years of being on it). The nurse practitioner that I've been trusting with my care has recently decreased that medication drastically after agreeing to the SLOW decrease, causing severe withdrawal. Do not recommend VCS nurse practitioner here if you value sanity and trust!!
