I went here twice. The first time was fine. The second time was an absolute nightmare. I set up a cleaning and was contacted to reschedule the appointment because there were too many booked. When I agreed to a time they offered(not long after they contacted me), they said the time was already taken so I had to reschedule again. When I went in for my appointment, the front desk gave me attitude for not letting them know I changed my insurance before the appointment (even though they called me to reschedule sooner and never asked if I updated it), I had a print out of my insurance information with my ID number, but apparently that wasn't good enough for them to confirm without calling my insurance. . . which the receptionists clearly weren't in the mood for.

They brought me to the back and took my xrays without confirming they were covered by insurance, because they were "running out of time". They did an Invisalign assessment although I said I didn't want invisalign, and my ENTIRE teeth cleaning was actually a sales pitch for their electric toothbrushes. When the dentist came in, he started reading a different patient's chart to me. He also pointed out that I had 5 cavities on my xrays, before even taking a look inside of my mouth. When I asked for a referral to go to an oral surgeon for my wisdom teeth, they wouldn't give me one because they wanted me to come in for another appointment to assess my wisdom teeth(when they already told me I'd need them removed in my previous appointment). They kept insisting they could remove all of them in office(I eventually got a referral via email on a later date). Inspite of being rushed because their day was "booked", they then told me I could conveniently get all 5 cavities filled the same day! I refused. While leaving, the receptionists were also pushing me to get my cavities filled as soon as possible to prevent needing crowns in the future. I said I'd call when I was ready to get them filled, and left.

Today,I went to a different dentist office for a cleaning and to assess my cavities for my fillings, using the xrays tru dental took. They told me my wisdom teeth can't be done in office,immediately gave me a referral to an oral surgeon for my wisdom teeth. . . without me even asking for one. Also, I have 0 cavities. Beware of tru family dental, they just want your money.

I am extremely happy I found this dental office after relocating from up north. My visits have been excellent ..the dental staff have been very caring and I can't say enough about Dr. Roumani..I would recommend him to anyone as he made me feel at ease and comfortable . I give this office "five stars".

Joan Cleaver

The hygienist was very good. I was pleased with her. However, I don’t recall the dentist introducing himself. I left not knowing his name. I have to assume he has the utmost confidence in his hygienist because he never looked in my mouth. At Tru Family Dental I’ve rarely had the same dentist twice. I’ve liked all of them but wonder why they can’t seem to keep them.
