Staff seemed nice but we were not made aware that they were not an in-network provider for our insurance then got hit with a bill with no offer to help/share in expense because of miscommunication.

I recently moved to the South Jersey Area and found Dr. Blake Trabuchi-Downey as a listed Dentist. I've had a lot of dental work done in the past and I knew I was due for a checkup. I have always been very fearful of the dentist to the point where I would refuse to go. However, the pain was overwhelming so I decided to try the Trabuchi-Downey Dental Practice. I called and setup an appointment without any hassle. I discovered that it was a dental practice ran by father-son. Blake (the son) was able to see me the next day.
After no wait in the waiting room I anxiously awaited my treatment. I was apprehensive and wasn't sure whether I'd like the dentist. My unease was misplaced because within the first few minutes I felt nice and comfortable in the office. Blake let me choose which music I would like to listen to as he had Spotify and Pandora on his computer. The first visit went very smoothly after that. He gently inquired about my reason for visiting and then proceeded to inspect and diagnose. Upon discovery of a few cavities I started to feel some anxiety about impending procedures and costs and the pain. Despite this, Blake was very professional and wasn't judgmental in his pronouncements.
He discussed options with me and allowed me ample time to find a good time slots that would work for me as I needed multiple procedures done. Well the rest is really history. I've had four fillings and a root canal performed by Blake Trabuchi-Downey DMD and there was not a hitch in the road. Afterward he helped me to map out a better plan for tackling my dental hygiene and ensured that a bi-annual check up and cleaning would suffice. I knew where I'd be heading to have that done! I am now happy to call Blake my Dentist and as long as I'm around, it'll remain so. I couldn't recommend this practice highly enough. Five stars!!!!!

After not having dental work done for some time due to no insurance, I was referred to Blake from my brother. Being hesitant on what he may find, Blake was very thorough and did most everything himself which is hard to find in this day with a dentist. I recommend him for all your dental work.
