I've gone to this dentist since I've moved up here 4 years ago, I've had several teeth pulled, including 2 wisdom teeth, fillings on front teeth, a crack repair, cleaning, etc. The worst part that I experienced was the numbing shot, and that was only because my tooth was so far gone and abscessed it couldn't be helped. Pain only lasted a few moments. The extractions itself were obviously uncomfortable but pain free. About a month or 2 ago I had a large crack form and was suffering for a few weeks hoping it would dull and go away, until I gave up and called.

In the middle of summer in a tourist county they were nice enough to squeeze me in the next day after I called with my very limited schedule. (I only have Tuesdays and Wednesdays free). This clinic is the best dentistry I've been to, and don't charge an arm and a leg based on what I've been charged before at other clinics.

Our son fell off his bike and broke about half of his tooth off down to the pulp. Of course, it was after 5 pm on Friday night. I tried calling Dentistry by Design but despite leaving two messages never heard back. When I called Dr. Tischler's number, he picked up immediately and met us at his office within 15 min even though he had dinner plans with his family. He spent the next 2. 5 hours carefully reconstructing my son's tooth. It was clear he cared about quality work, even though I'm sure his family was waiting at the restaurant for him.

He was also so kind and gentle with my son, explaining each step, but not in a patronizing way. The repair looks amazing. We're from Colorado and only here once a year, but I highly recommend Dr. Tischler to Door County natives. Should we ever find ourselves here on a more permanent basis, Dr. Tischler would be the dentist we would choose for our family.

Thank you for your response to me. I understand a wait at a restaurant and also understand a busy schedule, however you should know that not only was I not offered any other options, they did not even want my phone number to call if there was a cancellation. If that had been done I would have rated you much higher! Moved to Door County full time last October. Now have a toothache that kept me up most of the night.

Asked my neighbor who to go to, then read the reviews on line and called for an appt. Told them what was going on and was told this is their busy time of year and could see me in a week. Not very helpful!!!

Dr. Tishler is a great Dentist. I know this because I have been to 3 very bad Dentists and the difference is quite obvious. He has kept me pain free for over seven years. He also returns calls from his emergency number, weekends included.

He has upgraded his building AND HIS EQUIPMENT! He is a Dr. that has knowledge of dentistry past and present. My only criticism is he doesn't send me a birthday card🤣😉.
