Detailed Introduction

Tignor Dental Clinic is a dedicated dental facility situated within Fort Eustis, Virginia, specifically at 669 Monroe Ave, Fort Eustis, VA 23604. As part of the military healthcare system, it operates under the umbrella of McDonald Army Health Center and primarily serves the active-duty service members stationed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis. The clinic offers a range of general dentistry services, including dental exams, hygiene, and general dental procedures. While its primary focus is on active-duty personnel, there are instances where services may be extended to military dependents and retirees, often in collaboration with programs like TRICARE or through temporary mobile dental facilities aimed at easing patient traffic for non-active duty beneficiaries. Tignor Dental Clinic underwent significant renovations, with a notable project completed in September 2014, which modernized the facility with state-of-the-art equipment and expanded its capacity to 28 dental treatment operatories. This commitment to modern infrastructure underscores its mission to provide high-quality dental care. The clinic emphasizes a thorough sterilization process for all tools and maintains a professional, patient-centered approach. Appointments are typically scheduled directly with the clinic, and active-duty service members are often contacted for periodic dental exams. For dental emergencies, the clinic provides screening appointments during duty hours. Beyond general care, there are indications of specialty care being provided, such as periodontal and oral surgery, often by referral.

Hygienist I had today was kind of rough with the picks and brushes. She gave me tips on caring for my receding gums, and was polite. Always a good visit here!

I don't know what people get so I'm their feelings and 1 star places just to seem relevant. There are proper ways to file a complaint. I don't worry there, but I have never had any issues with the services I received, to include wait times.

Smh, I'll be back in 2 months or so to leave a written review 🤦‍♂️ Bad service, unprofessional. The doctors will MESS you up! Might as well go to a cave and start shaping your teeth with Stones, you'll have better luck. Really everytime I've been there I've always had my teeth either chipped, or my gums cut, or the fillings are completely wrong, or something else going on.

I wouldn't give such a bad review if I ever had a good experience there.

I’ve been going here for 7 years, finally transitioned out and got my first real cleaning, the pain I just went through made me wish I would have paid out of pocket and got real cleanings for the past 7 years instead of whatever polishing method the tignor dental clinic does. Also, I’ve had a tooth in pain for the last year, they couldn’t tell me what was wrong or find an issue. So they said my gums were receding and it was normal from brushing… the civilian doctor found my crown was coming off in .

0005 seconds and stated… “if I was blind I could have seen this”.
