Sunset Family dentistry lives up to its name—warm, welcoming, and perfect for the whole family. My wife, our teen, and I have been patients for 3 years, and each visit feels like catching up with friends. Dr. Carter has a knack for making even nervous patients (like my daughter) feel at ease. He explained her braces plan clearly, with no pressure, and the results are fantastic.
The hygienists are gentle but thorough, and they always take time to answer our questions. The office has a cozy, homey vibe, and the front desk team is amazing at working around our busy schedules—they even squeezed me in last minute for a toothache. They’re transparent about costs and handle insurance smoothly. It’s dental care that feels like part of the community.

Asking for basic cleaning covered by insurance then having billing codes added that were not covered by insurance then given a confusing justification as to why we were charged was not acceptable business for us. I asked to cancel the wife's appointment but assumed our child's previously scheduled appointment would remain. Upon receiving text reminders we arrived and were told in person our whole family was removed from the schedule. .
. I'm not sure what to call this, but you may have your own experience and I hope it's good.
