Grounds For Clarity

When I first came to Strawberry dental, I had dental insurance. I had no referral and I was a cold catch for them. I found out within one visit that I had pretty significant bone loss. The dentists, dental hygienist and front desk reassured me that they would document the state of my mouth so that the insurance would pay for both top and bottom. Front desk folx (I really should have learned all their names by now) pushed hard with insurance with the medical team to ensure that insurance paid for most of the procedure. Thanks team.

I cannot express how much you made my peace of mind not only for my improved oral health, but also, for my financial situation. Thank you very, very much (for estimates and for staying a bit below, too). Additionally, I wished to highlight my experience without insurance. After I finished up part 1 of 2 treatments for significant bone loss, my financial situation changed and went without insurance. Strawberry Creek receptionists told me about a year long, single payment for insurance could help compensate for lack of dental coverage. Just as well, the dental hygienist, Partima, is fantastic and funny.

She did a stellar job to ensure that I wouldn't regress in my oral health. They are fair with pricing and extremely transparent with me about what I need and don't need. She did manage to brighten my day today when I went in. I will be moving to the East bay, however, I will be commuting to this dental office. Half due to the hard-working receptionist crew, and half due to Partima who genuinely cares about proper oral health.

I have never received such horrible customer service anywhere else. The office workers are completely incompetent. My last visit with their so called specialist, I had high blood pressure so they refused to see me. Also accused me of not taking my blood pressure medication that day. I was shocked and pissed off at the accusation. That person did not have a medical degree nor a crystal ball to see if I took the medication or not (which I did).

I had to bring a note from my regular doctor that said I’m cleared for my next dentist appointment. Then they said the specialist will call me for a phone appointment to discuss my treatment plan. No phone call received. I called the office the next day and they set up another phone appointment. Again, no phone call received. Then out of no where, I receive a text for an appointment next week.

I call the office and ask about the appointment. The person said she can’t schedule an appointment until I bring a Dr note to clear my high blood pressure. I told her I already did that last month, she said they didn’t have it on file. Then I also brought up the two missed phone appointments, also said there is no record of it on file. So if the information is not on file then why am I getting future appointment notices? I’m never going back there again and will also tell my friends and family to never go there.

My current dental office and the oral surgeons there are baffled at how mediocre/poor the dental work I've had done here is. It's almost embarrassing. I recently had a fairly new crown come off and two other fillings come out. Luckily my current dental office was able to fix it without upselling me like this place does. Do not recommend.

*2025* I recently was informed by new, great dentist that this office did not set my crowns properly flush against my gums and left room for cavities to form more easily. I now have to replace all 4 front teeth crowns. Please look for another office if you don't want to waste your hard-earned money and have your dental work re-done.
