This practice purchased Dr Kastan’s practice that was in Pomona. I was completely paid up and was just going for adjustments to my retainers. Dr Kastan was a phenomenal Orthodontist whom I loved. Ever since Dr Sobel purchased his business I have had nothing but bad experiences. Not only has it been extremely hard to get an appointment but when I did it was canceled numerous times.

Then I finally get one and the only thing they seem to be interested in is getting money out of me for new retainers or Invisaline. Dr kastan’s retainers have always worked in straightening my teeth ever since he installed them and maintained my adjustment schedule. Dr sobel is only concerned with telling me they will not work and I need to seek another form of straightening my teeth. (By the way he informed me that he was now going to charge me for all adjustments) I would never recommend this orthodontist to anyone.

If I could give this office negative stars I would! Avoid at all costs!!!! They may be sweet to your face but they provide terrible results and are dishonest!! My daughter was part of the Kastin Castoffs. We didn’t have much of a choice in selecting this office for ortho care. We are military so knowing we had a move coming up we stayed with this office. We trusted that the best care would be provided. Boy was I wrong!! In the late fall of 2020 we were told my daughter braces would be coming off soon. She had had them on about two years at this point. Original treatment plan was suppose to be 1 1/2-2 years. We understand Covid caused delays for everyone, so we weren’t surprised she was still in braces but anticipated an early spring removal.

In Jan of 2021 the story changed and were told she would still need longer care. We asked if they would be off by May/June since we were moving. We were assured her care would be done as she was close. Long story short, braces came off late June right before we moved. At the time we were grateful they could fix her smile before we left New York. Fast forward to Spring of 2022. We just meet with a new orthodontist because of concerns by her current dentist. We are being told her bite is off substantially, she has spaces between teeth that weren’t corrected properly and there Is still glue from the brackets on her teeth!!! They left glue on her teeth!!!! Are you serious!!! She still need 9 months to a year of care to fix the problems Sobler failed to do the first time!! She has been religiously wearing her retainers.

We are now having to get braces again and pay for them AGAIN! I am shocked, angry, and appalled at the dishonesty and blatant lack of integrity Sobler Orthodontist possesses. They should never had taken her braces off if problems still existed. Why couldn’t they have told us to find another orthodontist at our new location? We paid a lot of money for these issues to be corrected. They weren’t corrected. You wasted time, money and valuable resources. This office should be ashamed of themselves!!

I went to this orthodontist because my permanent retainer broke and this office took over my original orthodontist. I got an appointment pretty quick. The appointment went quick. When I left I noticed the glue was super thick and my teeth could not clench all the way together. I assumed it would where off but it didn’t. A couple of days ago I bit into a burger and felt the permanent retainer loose.

I called to office to see if they could fix it but they said I would have to repay $180 to fix it all over again. It has only been about 3 months since I got this service. I don’t believe the glue should have worn off the permanent retainer so quickly. And I don’t find it fair to have to repay due to the office not curing the glue correctly potentially. Very frustrating experience.

Dr Sobler and his team are always accessible and very honest about treatment plans and pricing. Their office is always accommodating to our schedule. They truly care about the well being of my kids. I highly recommend them. Top notch orthodontists!!!!
