Everyone one in the Smileville team is fantastic, friendly and makes the experience comfortable and they put us all at ease. They're wonderful with the little kids, and do an awesome job on all our teeth, from cleaning to procedures. We are happy to drive an hour for our visit because I wasn't going to say good bye to Smileville once we left the area.

Being the daughter and sister of dentists, I can assure you Dr. Sharafi and Dr. Mina will never disappoint you, they represent the most knowledgeable and kindest choice for your dental needs. I often hear people say they hate visiting the dentist, but I can assure you it’s different here. Their staff is so sweet! Mrs. Debbie is kind and loving, and she will take care of all your admin needs in no time. Shahrzad is delicate, knowledgeable and sweet! She did part of my cleaning and wrote down my all concerns.

And finally, Dr. Sharafi completes the experience with his warm touch. Dr. Sharafi has been my dentist for over 10 years now, and I can assure you he will listen to your concerns and will give you the best option for your needs while taking into account financial and personal concerns. I recently took my kids to Smileville Family Dental for a routine cleaning. The pediatric dentist recommended fillings, and I specifically asked for a cost breakdown—how much insurance would cover and what I would need to pay. They assured me they would email the details, along with the X-ray images I requested. After waiting for several days with no response, I called the office. To my surprise, they said I had to pay $25 per child just to receive the X-ray images, even though we had already paid for the services. I pointed out that, by law, they cannot charge extra for records we already paid for. The staff then said they would check with the manager and get back to me.

I also asked for the cost of my kids’ treatment. I was told my daughter’s filling would be $10, and my son’s treatment was fully covered. I requested a written quote via email, but they only sent the X-rays. Trusting their verbal confirmation, I informed my wife about the cost. When my wife took our kids for the appointment, they sent a consent form to my phone. Since I was in a meeting and we had always trusted their verbal estimates in the past, I signed it quickly without reading everything. To our shock, they charged us $140 instead of the $10 they had quoted! When I called to question this, they claimed they used a nitrous oxide mask, which we have always declined in the past, and my daughter never needed it.

Despite multiple calls and emails to resolve the issue, Smileville Family Dental refused to make any adjustments, saying we “agreed to pay for the services. ” This experience felt like a trap—they provided misleading verbal estimates and added unnecessary services just to increase the bill. I’m sharing my experience to warn other parents: Do not trust their verbal estimates! Get everything in writing before agreeing to any treatment. Read every consent form carefully, no matter how much they rush you. I will not be returning to Smileville Family Dental, and I hope this helps others avoid the same frustrating and unfair experience.
