So far we have had nothing but great things to say. We went there only for Invisaligns for my son and now we are going to move our entire family there as our general dentist. There was an honest mistake on our bill but the manager was very pleasant and honored our pricing. The staff is fun professional and kind.

The front desk girls are so warm and welcoming and the dentist spends time with her patients instead of running in and out quickly. Very impressed so far. Thanks smile studio 87

I booked through Zocdoc and clearly stated that I required a filling to be replaced and a check-up. I was there for two hours, of which only about 30 minutes were actually spent on my care, the rest of the time I was just waiting. I got x-rays and the filling, which was my first priority but no check-up. They tried to sell me on orthodontics, which I am not opposed to but I would have been more receptive had they done the check-up first.

The dental assistant who took the x-rays and did the new patient interview was very nice. It wasn't the worst experience but my care and time didn't feel like a priority and I will have to think twice about whether I want to go back.

On June 12th, I had a root canal scheduled with Dr. Sukovic. In the past, I've had at least 5 root canals, never had any pain. On June 12th, was one of the most painful experiences in my entire life. The Doctor failed to inject enough pain medicine. It's Monday, and it's still throbbing! At times it seemed like Dr "S" seemed to ignore my stressful sudden movements and painful grunts. I have severe life threatening heart conditions, therefore I do not need any additional pain.

Dr "S" will continue the procedure on July 1st, if I decide to show up! Also, being 75 years young, I do not need this additional stress and frustration. The Doctor needs to inject me and wait about 10 to 15 minutes, not 30 minutes like she did Thursday, for having a good chance of no pain. LISTEN, I'm the patient, I know through past experiences. It's too bad my dentist of 34 years, Dr Richard Goodman of Bolingbrook retired. There are potentially many good practices in the area that coordinate a lot better pain management. I will investigate my options. Since my 1st appointment at Smile Practice in 2020, I have never walked out of your clinic pain free, even for a mere exam/xrays! Not a happy camper, Patent John F.

I visited this dental office for a basic cleaning, which was reasonably priced at $66. However, I was disappointed by what felt like unnecessary upselling throughout the visit. They took several extra X-rays that didn’t seem essential for a routine checkup, adding several hundred dollars to the bill. They also offered a fluoride treatment that wasn’t covered by insurance and strongly pushed an Invisalign plan costing around $4,000 — none of which I had requested or needed. What’s more telling is that they’ve even stopped giving patients the standard complimentary dental kit (toothbrush, floss, and toothpaste) — something most other offices still provide — apparently to cut costs.

The entire experience gave the impression that the focus was more on maximizing billing than on caring for patients’ dental health. It felt more like a business strategy than a healthcare service. I hope they reflect on this and return to prioritizing patient trust and genuine care.
