Dr. Martinez is a pro with little ones—she uses stuffed animals to demonstrate cleanings and turns “scary” tools into “tooth helpers. ” The office is a kid paradise: colorful murals, a play zone with toys, and even TVs showing cartoons during appointments.
They offer weekend slots, which fit our busy schedule, and the staff is so patient with my daughter’s endless questions. Best of all, they focus on making dental care fun, so now she actually gets excited to brush her teeth. Finally, a pediatric dental practice that understands kids—we’re hooked!

I have been looking for a dentist office for my son. A friend recommended Smile Starters Raleigh, boy am I glad she did! Very professional, clean, nice, everyone had a smile from walking in to walking out!! Thank you so much and we will definitely see you in 6 months for his cleaning.

We’ve been coming here since my daughter’s very first dental visit, and it’s always been a positive experience. The staff is friendly, informative, and makes us feel welcome every time. I travel over 45 minutes to this office, passing multiple others along the way, and that alone speaks volumes. The staff here is incredibly accommodating and patient with my children, which makes every visit a breeze. There's never a long wait—if you're on time for your appointment, you'll be seen promptly. They're quick but thorough, ensuring everything is handled efficiently.
The team is friendly, and the office, including the bathrooms and lobby, is always clean. My children actually enjoy coming here, which says a lot about the welcoming environment they've created. Highly recommend!
