I’m sure many people can relate to the statement “I’ve had a bad experience with a dentist. ” Unfortunately in my case I had quite a few bad experiences to the point where I definitely didn’t trust anyone because I was misguided by professionals, I thought where guiding me in the right direction. I had bonding done on my front for teeth and seven years later I needed to have it redone. Long story short the original dentist who did my bonding retired and I went to someone else. The bonding looked great but it kept cracking after about the fifth time getting it repaired I went to a different dentist. I was so disappointed, the Dentist did an awful job. One tooth was two toned and just the overall bonding was horrible and my teeth looked awful. I was so self-conscious of smiling or talking to people because I didn’t want them to see my teeth. I started researching cosmetic dentistry in CT, based off of online reviews that’s how I found Dr. Steve Balloch’s office. I set up a consolation to discuss redoing my bonding. Before the appointment I started experiencing excruciating pain in my tooth. I called the office to see if I could get seen. Dr. Balloch was on vacation but they had me come right in and see Dr. Joshua Lomke.

My first impression was extremely positive, the staff was super friendly and even though I wasn’t even a patient yet they treated my situation with urgency. Dr. Lomke did an x-ray to see what was going on and talked to me about what I needed to do next. He also discussed my situation of wanting my bonding redone. Based off of what I was looking for regarding my smile and the state my teeth were in he recommended that I get caps. He was very upfront and honest with me that he wanted to first address a few issues that were currently going on with my back teeth to get them stable before moving on to the front teeth. The entire process Dr. Lomke was very clear in his communication about each visit and the entire process. I never thought I could put trust in a dentist again after being misled but Dr. Lomke had/has my full trust. I followed all of his recommendations (how many teeth to cap, getting gum surgery to even out my gum lines). Dr. Lomke always made sure to schedule plenty of time for my visits so neither of us felt rushed. He is a true perfectionist, no matter what procedures I went through with him he always would make sure it was perfect. He even make comments like “let’s redo that it’s not perfect”. It’s probably a quality that drives his family and girlfriend crazy, but a quality I admired and a quality you want in your dentist.

To say I am happy with my results is an understatement. I am seriously blown away how natural and beautiful my teeth are. Every concern I communicated to Dr. Lomke i. e. the whiteness of my teeth I didn’t want super white or what they call “Hollywood”, he clearly listened. The detail in each tooth and the naturalness, is AMAZING. I have never in my life felt so confident in smiling or talking with someone in a close proximity. I had 12 front teeth capped and gum surgery to correct my uneven gum lines. Dr. Lomke, Dr. Balloch, their entire staff and the lab is truly AMAZING! They are extremely friendly, honest and talented. It is definitely an investment but one I am so beyond happy I made.

I had a great experience with Dr lomke and his assistant Iryna. I couldn't be happier with the results of the cosmetic procedure. Both Dr Lomke and Iryna are very warm, friendly and will relive any anxieties one might have going to the dentist.

I had an appointment to have my front tooth (chipped) repaired and I have to say Dr lomke is an artist! The bonding matched perfectly with the other tooth, shape , texture and color. I was amazed how it turned out! If you need to have any dental work done, I'd highly recommend Dr Lomke at the offices of Dr Steven bollach.

I highly recommend Dr. Lomke and I’m happy to be his patient. I came to the office for emergency treatment with horrible toothache and was very anxious but the atmosphere there is so friendly that I quickly relaxed and he took care of the tooth and the pain. Dr.

Lomke explains everything very clearly and I trust his opinion because he’s very attentive and listens carefully to your concerns. He’s also very thorough in what he’s doing and cares a lot about making you comfortable. I left feeling great and confident that I'm in good hands now! He’s also so easy to approach; I’m looking forward to seeing him again.

I started taking my son to this office when he turned 13. He had a fear of dentists due to some trauma over dental work done at another office when he was little. Dr. Lomke took his time to get to know my son and explained everything he was going to do as the appointment went along. He gave my son a sense of feeling like he had some control over the appointment, which I think made him feel better.

Dr. Lomke’s personality also seemed to win him over and made him smile. A mom couldn’t ask for a better dental care from an office! Thank you Dr. Lomke!!
