Smile Designs has been phenomenal to work with. Their knowledgeable staff treats you with the utmost care. Dr. Grenfell was very calming, quick, and thorough. I have visited three times now and cannot recommend them enough! I called Smile Designs of Door County because I was having some pretty bad oral pain that I could no longer ignore. I explained that I was out of network and that I hadn't been to a dentist in years. They made room for me that same day. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. They observed all the necessary protocols regarding Covid-19.

After taking x-rays, assessing my situation, explaining everything to me, and answering my questions; they gave me some options. After my decision was made, we went right back to the chair and Dr. Grenfell and the team got to work. They removed the source of my pain and got me started on antibiotics. I got the first full night's sleep in weeks! About 10 days later, I returned for my appointment to remove the remnants of a tooth that had broken last year. Finally, I went in for a routine cleaning in the beginning of December. Through those three visits I spent a combined total of maybe 4-5 hours at Smile Designs and got a chance to meet almost every member of the staff. They had plenty of opportunities to scare off someone who hasn't been to a dentist in too many years, but instead they impressed me with their professionalism and kindness. They have great communication regarding appointments with calls and text message confirmations.

Although they were not in my network, they had financing options available for me. I was lucky though, as they submitted the claim to my insurance to see what they would pick up and it ended up being mostly covered. Even without the insurance they were very affordable. Fear of cost was one thing that had kept me out of the dentist's chair for so long. If you have been avoiding the dentist for too long, give Smile Designs a call. I can't imagine a better way to get back to a healthier mouth. I am so happy that I made the call the to Smile Designs of Door County when I did. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Smile Designs! I'll see you in May for my next cleaning!

Can not recommend them enough!! Had a chip in my tooth and called to schedule an appointment expecting a long wait time. They were able to see me almost immediately!! From the moment I walked into the office everyone was warm and welcoming. After a quick X-ray I was scheduled for a filling the next day. The visits were extremely quick. Such a great experience!!!!!

Have now been there twice. Both times the Dr. seemed in a big hurry. Also too much personal banter between Dr. and technician. . . very little focus on patient.

Additionally, was essentially admonished for being 5 minutes late. It would have been 2 minutes if the entrance from the street were open. All in all was left with a not so positive feeling about continuing with this practice. Great last appointment! Nice personal interaction. Really felt an effort was made to connect with patient on a personal level, while thoroughly explaining what was being done. Left thoroughly satisfied.

Calm comfortable and clean environment. Was met with a smile at the front desk. My hygenist was very caring and did a superior job. Dr. Gina has a great attitude and a no nonsense approach. I would highly recommend this dental office!
