My first visit went ok then went back to discuss what we needed to do it went downhill, I couldn't ever get anyone to answer the phone or call me back I should have known when I was taken back to a lunchroom & seen all the files in boxes all over the place. After waiting 3 months I just finally called another dentist I'm glad I did though.

I was just hoping to have a dentist close but the 30 miles is well worth it. Do yourself a favor & skip right on past Sims

I called this office because I was given their name directly from my insurance company as a participating PPO provider. I called and spoke to the front office, whom she let me know that she was his mother. I indicated that I would be a new patient needing a full set of x-rays and that I have a toothache on an upper left molar.

Today is two weeks and nobody has called me back after speaking to two different people and leaving two detailed voicemails. I couldn’t be more dissatisfied and I’m actually shocked and appalled at the customer service at this dental office.

I’ve seen Dr Sims twice now, the first time was for a cleaning and that went ok. My second visit was for something more serious. I now understand why he has so many 1 star reviews, he took my examination money (which is a little high compared to many) then instead of being a dentist he just sent me elsewhere where I had to pay another exam fee.

It was a simple extraction and was preformed without issue by another dentist who actually practices dentistry. If you need a dentist, look elsewhere. He’s only a middleman with his hand out!!!

I normally would never leave a review like this but my kids went here for a few years and were never comfortable. They never let me go back with them. The last time they went my mom took them. They never told her anything about my child having a cavity during the visit. They also never called me. I got a call from the orthodontist later saying Dr Simms office said my child had a cavity and that would need to be taken care of before we start braces.

When I called dr simms to ask why I was never informed that they had a cavity they said my mom rushed out without allowing them to talk to her. This is all untrue. Needless to say this same child was just seen by a new dentist 8 months later and has no cavities, which means they lied about her having one because we have not seen anyone else since the appointment at dr simms. It makes my momma heart sad knowing that they might have lied about my children having cavities in the two years they were seen there.
