A message for temp hygienists: this practice provides remarkably dull and dysfunctional hygiene instruments, gives one hour for FMX, cleaning including bloody prophy and exam, which you can wait for 5-10 minutes and leaves a negative review if you run 10 minutes late. A message for patients: question every proposed treatment, ask for X-rays and intraoral images.

When I had my 1st cleaning the Hygienist used the latest equipment & he was great. I met Dr. Haddix then & she was very nice too. When I came in for my 2nd cleaning it was a different Hygienist & cleaned my teeth the way they've always been cleaned, by scraping the teeth. She also was surprised to find I had a bridge - when she tried to floss it- & she didn't know I have some crowns, plus she told me my gums were at level 10 & that I just needed to brush harder. I thought 4 was bad! When I got home I found that my crown was VERY sensitive to even cool water.
I let it slide, for a week thinking with Sensadine, it would go away. I called & they had me come in but could find nothing. In the meantime I got another crown, only to find that one is Also sensitive! I was told to rub the toothpaste on theose teeth 3 times a day & leave it there 20 min. , then brush but do not rinse. I did this for several weeks, it did6work, so I called again & met with Dr. Shakeel.
Well, he couldn't find anything so prescribed a "special" toothpaste & do the same as before but increase time to 1/2 hour, for 6 weeks. He also looked at me as if I was making this up & was a silly old lady. I did that too & I'm still in pain if I drink anything on the right side of my mouth. I have kept the toothpaste routine going but it hasn't worked at all. My decision has been to find another dentist, as I don't know what else to do & can't prove that this all started with the 2nd Hygienist that went to far, with the cleaning! My dentist retired, and I was in the market for a new dental facility. Signature dental had great reviews so I chose them to keep track of my dental health. There are two dentist at the facility. On my first visit I had two tooth pulled by Dr Shakeel, the assistants prepped me and all went as expected until Dr Shakeel arrived. I found him very condescending. He did not discuss the procedure, or the after care. He also took it upon himself to do bone grafts in both areas this was not discusses. It was also a substantial upcharge.
When I left there were no post visit instructions given to me. The next appointment with Dr. Shakeel didn't go any Better this was for a deep cleaning and exam. Again all went as expected until Dr. Shakeel arrived for the exam. He took a short look and announced that I had several teeth that would need capped or later would need implants. There was no reason given for needing the implants, but he said they yould take pictures and he would explain. They took the pictures and he never came back.
After a short time the assistant said I will show you out. The other visit was attended to by Dr haddix for a broken tooth. Again I was prepped by the assistant. When Dr Haddix came in all want very well. She was attentive and was forthcoming with much information and could not have been more helpful. I would have given this facility 4. 8 stars if she was the only dentist on staff.

I'd like to compliment my dental hygienist Stacy. She is always upbeat, friendly, and always has a smile on her face. She does her job so well, and is extremely patient! Explains what she's doing while doing it! Dr. Mohammed Shakeel is very professional, and it's always a pleasure to see him. All in all the service received at this Dentist practice is exceptional !
