Extremely Disappointed with Sierra Dental – Felt Like a Total Scam. I showed up at Sierra Dental for a routine cleaning, and what I experienced left me feeling completely scammed. Instead of getting my teeth cleaned, they took several x-rays, then proceeded to poke and prod every single tooth until my gums started bleeding — without once offering a rinse or any comfort. Then the dentist came in for barely a minute, told me I needed to see a specialist, and said a cleaning "wouldn’t do any good.

" Mind you, my teeth have been in the same condition for over 10 years, and this is the first time any dental office has flat-out refused to clean them. It honestly felt like they were more interested in billing my insurance than providing actual care. They took x-rays, gave me a rushed and uncomfortable “exam,” and sent me on my way in about 10 minutes — no cleaning, no real explanation, no care. To make matters worse, my insurance only covers one cleaning a year — and now that's been wasted at a place that didn't even bother to do the job.

I walked out with no cleaner teeth and a really bad feeling about this place. I wouldn’t recommend Sierra Dental to anyone looking for honest or compassionate care. I left feeling taken advantage of and incredibly frustrated.
