I, my wife, and some of my children see him regularly for our dental care. He's a gem. Definitely knowledgeable with a warm demeanor. He has performed some major procedures including numerous crowns after gum surgery from a surgery referral). He has made sleep apnea dental appliances for two of us that do the trick. I highly recommend him.

Wonderful family dentist. I was scared to death of dentists before going to Dr. Shimamoto, after the first visit I was relaxed and almost fell asleep during two root canals. I took my three year old and one year old children in for their first check-ups and Dr. Shimamoto was wonderful with them! Definitely found a great dentist for my whole family.

Although nobody likes going to the dentist - I can't imagine anyone not having a good dental experience here. When you walk in you are introduced to a kind and very competent receptionist. That is followed by meeting their bright and caring assistants and receiving genuinely compassionate and knowledgeable care from Dr. Shimamoto.
He does a thorough job of answering your questions and addressing your concerns. To paint a more colorful picture, here is a comparison. While some places throw every kind of diagnostic test, scan, tarot-reading, chakra-balance, and aura reading at you followed by presenting you with a five-page list of recommendations before even addressing the reason for your visit, Dr. Shimamoto utilizes his professional judgment to deliver the precise, competent treatment plan that you actually need.
The entire experience is composed of a balance of professionalism, respect and friendliness that leaves you feeling comforted because you know you are in good hands. I am very grateful for Dr. Shimamoto's care today and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great, trustworthy dentist.
