Extremely disappointing and potentially deceptive billing practices. Prior to my appointment, I specifically verified with their billing department that only routine cleaning (100% covered out of network) would be performed. Despite this clear communication: They attempted to perform unauthorized X-rays during the visit When questioned about insurance coverage, I explicitly declined X-ray services The office deliberately misrepresented services by using incorrect billing codes I was wrongfully charged $150+ for what should have been a fully covered routine cleaning What's most concerning is the blatant disregard for patient consent and transparency in billing practices.

The office staff provided false assurances about coverage and then proceeded to submit incorrect billing codes, resulting in unexpected out-of-pocket expenses. I strongly advise potential patients to: Get all billing agreements in writing Document all conversations with the billing department Review charges carefully before leaving the office Consider filing a complaint with your state dental board if experiencing similar issues This type of deceptive billing practice is unethical. I would not recommend this dental office to anyone seeking honest, transparent dental care.

I was a patient for 13 years and had a great experience throughout. All of the staff, from the front desk to the hygienists to the doctors, were kind and genuine. I had excellent care each time--they were gentle and never laid guilt on you.

I also appreciated that they always seemed to have the newest tools and equipment to continue to make the process more comfortable and efficient. Even after moving a few towns over, I continued to see them for many years; when they stopped taking my insurance, that was the catalyst to stop the cumbersome commute and switch dentists.

I cannot recommend Michaela at Theron Baker enough. What an absolute treat. I’ve been going here for at least 7 years and everyone is phenomenal, truly. Michaela was communicative and responsive, ensuring that I wasn’t experiencing any discomfort throughout my cleaning. And she is just so incredibly kind. I honestly can’t imagine going anywhere else.
