Dr Chammas took exceptional care of me for my crowns (cases). She is a radiant human being who really values her work and expertise and it shows in her results. She was patient with my anxiety, professional with the local anesthetic and shared my excitement to fix my cracked teeth and get a night guard. I have a long history of dental work but the team really encouraged me that all would be well. I learned so much with how to take better care of my teeth.

I would highly recommend this practice but also, Dr. Chammas. I am very well pleased and grateful I found this place so far from home. Thank you again. -Mary G

Had an awful experience here last year. Was told I had a cavity that needed a filling, which was given right there (4pm on a Wednesday). The next morning (Thursday) when I woke up I could feel a hole in my tooth. I called all morning, left several messages, and received no reply.

I walked over to their office and the doors were locked and all the lights were off. Dear reader, they were apparently "closed early for Memorial Day weekend" - nice, but it was 10am on a Thursday? When I finally got in to see an emergency dentist from a different office he told me that they left the flash on and there was a bubble in the filling which made it feel like there was a hole in my tooth. To make matters worse, the emergency dentist told me that what I had was a pre-cavity and he wouldn't have recommended a filling in the first place. So Sahara Dental gave me a shoddy filling, charged me for it, and then completely ghosted me.

To make matters worse no one from their office ever contacted me to resolve this or offer to fix the filling, but to this day they continue to contact me to remind me that I'm due for a cleaning. AVOID

Similarly to others, I felt the need to post about Sahara Dental after receiving much higher quality care somewhere else (Brighton Family Dental, to be exact). I was advised to get FOUR fillings at Sahara during a visit, one of them on my front tooth(!!). I was skeptical. I didn’t schedule a follow-up appointment for the first two fillings. I grind my teeth and eat sweets and coffee, but I am diligent about taking care of my teeth with that in mind.

At the next practice I went to, I let them know that I was advised to get fillings in a few places. After extremely thorough and kind care at Brighton Family Dental Group, (very different from the brief cleaning appointments I received at Sahara from 2021-23), they told me fillings were inadvisable. I didn’t have significant cavities. I just had significant wear from bruxism, and drilling wouldn’t change that. I was really disappointed in Sahara’s care & felt cheated, despite a few good appointments with one of their weekend dentists.

The star they do get from me is regarding communication. They made it easy to schedule & change appointments as needed. The owner gave me a call after posting a review, and I appreciate that, but ultimately it’s still my body that is impacted by staff at places that offer dentistry. I don’t recommend this practice, unfortunately.

Cannot speak the HIGHEST PRAISE enough about Sahara Dental. From the front desk, (Alex) and (new girl I met today who I can’t remember her name who gave me medical records and a yellow folder :)), to procedure room, I felt so well taken care of. Dr. Naji is personable, professional and funny. Dr. Fernanda is so intelligent and kind. And most important, so much compassion and care. I recommend Sahara Dental to absolutely anyone. I was even told to go elsewhere, like Coolidge Corner and Brookline.

But if you’re anything like me, if I have a good experience, I’d want to tell everyone I know. Affordable, takes most insurance, flexible scheduling. Thank you so much for helping me with my fillings and crowns. I feel like I have a portion of my quality of life back thanks to you and your team. I wanted to leave a separate portion for Dr. Chammas. What a kind, radiant, lovely human being and medical professional. She worked with me from the beginning to ensure not only the health of my smile but also the stability. I know how difficult it can be to alleviate anxiety in the medical field but she was so helpful especially since I don’t like things close to my face.

The crowns (or cases) sent from the lab are beautiful and help to maintain the balance in my jaw. I also have bruxism so this practice has seen me a lot since December. I have one night guard to go and I feel confident working with Dr Chammas that this next step will keep me going for some time. Thank you for your care. Thank you for your kindness.
