Friendly and professional are the 2 words I will use to describe the staff at Sage Dental of Tamarac. The manager Darlene takes the time to get to know the patients by name and a little about them and or their families. Dr Perkins very professional and patient, thr hygienist Maeli who helps on Friday's only is simply awesome. Luv this team.

I had a fantastic experience with my hygienist Fatima !, and the hull incredible dental staff . She was incredibly gentle, thorough, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire cleaning. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor made my visit enjoyable.

She took the time to explain everything and gave me great tips for maintaining my oral health. I truly appreciate her professionalism and care. Highly recommended!

If you are concerned about forced treatments and paying out of pocket for the extras . DO NOT GO HERE. Scheduled a cleaning, went in and they did X-rays and an exam then told me I would need to schedule another appt for a cleaning. I argued that I made the appt for a cleaning so they “ found a way to fit me in” (scam 1). During that exam they probed my gums and said I needed a deep cleaning.

I did not agree and would not pay out of pocket so I denied the deep cleaning and asked for a regular one. They told me they wouldn’t do a regular cleaning and if I wanted a second opinion with a different hygienist, I would need to make another appointment (scam 2). Side note: when I first denied the deep cleaning and asked for a regular cleaning they said they would check if they could do it today. They then came back after 15 minutes and said they could do it. So I wait another 15 minutes for the hygienist to come and she starts prepping everything and before she starts she tells me it’s going to be out of pocket.

Knowing my insurance covers routine cleanings, I questioned her and she said it was for a deep cleaning. I once again said I did not want it and walked out. (Scam 3). WENT TO ANOTHER DENTIST A FEW DAYS LATER TO GET A REGULAR CLEANING AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO INDICATION THAT I NEEDED A DEEP CLEANING. (Scam 4)

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Spencer and his amazing team at Sage Dental! From the very first appointment, Dr. Spencer was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and patient. He took the time to thoroughly explain my treatment plan, answer all of my questions, and made sure I felt confident every step of the way. Martine and Kay are absolute gems—warm, professional, and so attentive.

They always made me feel welcomed and comfortable, and their attention to detail is top-notch. You can tell this team truly cares about their patients and works seamlessly together to deliver the best care possible. Thanks to them, my smile looks better than I ever imagined! I highly recommend Sage Dental and Dr. Spencer’s team to anyone looking for expert orthodontic care in a friendly, supportive environment.
