Dr. Pinero (dentist) was an absolute gentleman and professional, and Dr.

r (oral surgeon) was pure and genuine in making me feel comfortable and confident with the procedures we were executing. The support staff is truly what a great team is comprised of. Simply the best!

I hadn’t been to the dentist in a couple of years, so I decided to give Sage Dental of Cooper City a try, as my husband had previously been treated there. My first visit was on January 2nd, 2025, for a routine cleaning and X-rays. Dr. Jorge Piñero performed the X-rays and informed me that I had cavities, two teeth that needed crowns, and a couple of fillings. The office manager, Ensenada, provided a detailed treatment plan and pricing, which I confirmed over the phone before my next appointment on January 17th, 2025.

However, after my visit on January 17th, I found that I was charged $267 more than the original quote. I called the office immediately, and while they refunded the overcharge that same day, the billing discrepancy left me concerned about the transparency of their practices. Unsure about the accuracy of my diagnosis, I decided to get a second opinion—and I’m so glad I did. To my surprise, the two teeth Dr. Piñero recommended crowns for only needed simple fillings, and the one tooth that genuinely required a crown had been completely missed.

This experience made me question the accuracy of Sage Dental's diagnoses and their approach to patient care. While I understand that treatment plans can vary between providers, this situation seriously undermined my trust in their diagnostic accuracy and pricing integrity. I was left with the feeling that their focus was more on financial gain than genuine patient care. Because of this, I strongly advise others to seek a second opinion before proceeding with treatment at this office.

Stellar. She’s warm, funny, and somehow makes you forget you’re in a dental chair with sharp instruments in your mouth.

Honestly, it’s probably the only time anyone actually enjoys going to the dentist. If you can make me laugh while scraping plaque, you’re clearly elite. Tammy’s a rockstar, and Sage Dental is lucky to have her.
