The staff at Prime Smile are exceptionally friendly and professional. From the front desk to the assistants to the dentists, they all demonstrated that they care about their patients’ dental health and well-being. My dentist, Andrew Park, very clearly provided instructions on how I can maintain and improve the health of my teeth. He was an absolute professional and a joy to see.

Despite my nervousness, he helped me keep calm and ultimately I had a seamless experience. I will be returning to Prime Smile Dental for all of my dental needs.

I am generally satisfied with the quality of dental treatment provided here. However, like many others have pointed out, the way they handle insurance coverage is concerning. They invite patients to come to the office, only to inform them in person that their insurance doesn’t work and that payment must be made in cash. This approach feels misleading and leaves a negative impression. Additionally, I had a particularly unpleasant experience with one of the front desk receptionists. I’m not sure if the middle-aged Korean-Chinese receptionist is still working there, but her attitude was highly unprofessional and disrespectful, especially toward someone like myself who shares the same Korean-Chinese background.

She behaved as though she were a “pure South Korean,” despite her broken North Korean accent. Her lack of English proficiency caused frequent miscommunications, and she pretended not to speak Chinese at all, even though it was clear from her gestures and behavior that she does. What upset me most was her refusal to communicate in our shared dialect from the Korean-Chinese region in China. Instead, she made fun of my lack of knowledge about dental procedures, my not having visited a dental office in a while, and even my hometown of Yanji. She went as far as to tell me that her hometown of Hunchun is “more superior these days” in the region. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful, especially coming from someone with the same cultural background.

Overall, while the dental treatment itself is satisfactory, my experience with this receptionist and the misleading handling of insurance issues make it difficult for me to recommend this office. My advice is to treat all patients with respect and professionalism, regardless of cultural or regional differences. Peace.

She efficiently handled my appointment and answered all my questions with a smile, making the check-in process seamless. Linda also ensured I understood my insurance benefits, which is often a confusing aspect of healthcare.

Her attention to detail and genuine care for patients is commendable. Overall, Linda’s excellent customer service set a positive tone for my visit, making the dental office feel welcoming and organized. I left feeling confident and well-informed about my dental care.
